This section includes all the Shipment Terms we apply when selling Manorhouse products to the public, when purchasing items on our On-Line Store, or by means of telephone/fax/standard mail. The customer unconditionally acknowledges these terms upon ordering, therefore we advise you to read them carefully.
Business with shop-keepers and/or distributors will be regulated by different contracts and please contact us for further details.
ManorHouse shall give the express carrier (or Poste Italiane - Italian Mail) the purchased items as quickly as possible and within the period specified and/or agreed with customers. The carrier responsible for delivery will then deliver the goods within the scheduled times, as agreed with the customer.
The delivery times indicated by the selected carrier are only an indication of what times are usually necessary for these deliveries; since this is an external service, Manorhouse does not undertake to guarantee that the carriers shall comply with these times, though it shall promptly take steps if any problems arise.
The overall shipment cost may vary depending on many aspects, clearly including what kind of delivery the customer chooses (normal or urgent, by land, by sea or by air) and obviously depending on what kind of goods you buy (for instance, there is a great difference if you deliver a shirt or a whole pre-assembled and painted resin village!). Furthermore, the cost of shipment insurance (which ManorHouse always suggests, for the customer's best interest, in case the goods are worth more than 100,00 Euros) depends on the overall value of the delivered goods.
For these reasons ManorHouse will contact all customers upon receiving an order, so as to to ask for indications on shipment modalities and later to inform the customer of the overall shipment and insurance costs.
The buyer undertakes to be charged all shipment and insurance costs, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
Shipment modalities mainly depend on two aspects: their destination and what kind of goods you order:
- For parcels shipped within the European Community, Manorhouse is entitled to choose whether to use its usual carrier (Panalpina or Bartolini) or else use the PaccoCelere services by Poste Italiane, depending on volume/weight of the parcels.
- For parcels shipped outside the European Community, (whatever the typology of the ordered goods), Manorhouse shall always use the Express Courier by Panalpina or Bartolini; supposing the destination is overseas, the customer may choose whether to use air-mail or sea-mail.
All land deliveries (both for private individuals and for stores/distributors) take place door-to-door (therefore to the address of the addressee). Overseas deliveries (by sea or by air) take place door-to-door as far as privates are concerned, while for shop-keepers or distributors the goods are shipped to their closest sea or air customs. The addressee shall then take care of customs clearance and transfer the goods.
If you contact us before you make an order, we will be glad to provide all information regarding modalities, estimate of costs, overseas shipments or for negotiating different delivery methods.
